I know I was on the more freedom side of the debate but I believe that students of any age do not need to have their cell phones on in school. I have a cell phone that only gets turned on when I need to use it and I never have the need in the middle of class. I don't think that cellphones should be collected and kept in a box but I think the students should have to keep them in their bags.
